Licensed Mental Health Therapist
The Licensed Psychotherapist, will support the work of Therapeutic Sanctuary Counseling & Play Therapy Center, Therapeutic Sanctuary Inc., and provide exceptional clinical psychotherapy to clients. Specific responsibilities include:
Duties
Provide clinical psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults with traumatic experience
Diagnose and provide evidence-based interventions for various mental health symptoms
Complete treatment plan, and assessments
Trained and or knowledgeable in the following interventions: Play Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI)
Respond to all client and collateral communications in a timely manner
Attend all required trainings and staff meetings
Excellent organizational skills, and documentation
Maintain client electronic charts and ensure all documentation is current and accurate
Sanitize and maintain the appearance of the waiting room, playroom, and personal work area
Must exhibit professionalism in both written and verbal communication
Must be proficient in Microsoft suites, internet usage
Minimum Required Education
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC-P)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT-P)
Experience
Minimum of 6 months post-licensure experience
